Few things make me happier than saying “IT’S FROM M&S, ACTUALLY” when someone compliments me on a snazzy dress or a pert bum (I wrote about how they make the best sculpting jeans for size 14s here) so it makes sense to share some of my fave pieces in store atm so you can join in with the smuggery.
Because let’s get real here, nothing beats buying new shoes and a bag of Percy Pigs in the same transaction.
1. Coat – £99
Effortless chic is my favourite kind of chic.
2. Ring – £18
Manis at the ready.
3. Blouse – £14 (reduced from £29.50)
I’d be including this at full price, so the fact it’s half off is just another reason to buy it. I like to imagine I’d wear this with a straw boater and grey wide leg trousers because yes, sometimes I do still wish I was a French schoolgirl.
4. Trousers – £49.50
Wear with heels for ultimate legginess, wear with wedges for ultimate leggy seventies-ness. (Def not a word).
5. Dress – £59
I love how this could be office-y but could also be an extremely fierce date night look or even a wedding guest outfit with the right accessories – I’m thinking a bright yellow clutch and red stilettos. OBVIOUSLY.
6. Coat – £149
A classic shape made BRIGHT is always a winner with me. I have a canary yellow Burberry trench that I’ve worn to death, simply because it brings me so much joy to wear something colourful when the weather is horrid. It’s just such a shame to wear a black coat on a grey day. Upgrade to blue, you deserve it.
7. Blouse – £22 (was £29.50)
Yep, this completely fash-wan yet grown up blouse is from M&S. Race you there.
8. Skirt – £35
Everyone needs a black midi pencil skirt, but nobody needs a boring one.
9. Shoes – £25
Be warned with these though, once you go over to the Insolia side it’s quite hard to wear shoes that aren’t from M&S ever again.
10. Ring – £18
Mama said knock you out.
11. Dress – £34 (reduced from £59!!!)
A belt to cinch in the waist and vertical stripes to lengthen the bod, optical illusion dresses are the best.
12. Blouse – £29.50
Cute for something smart, but I prefer the idea of wearing this with pale blue jeans and white Stan Smiths.
13. Top – £25
It’s slightly cropped, so show off those abs or team with something high waisted. I will OBVIOUSLY be doing the latter, but each to their own.
14. Dress – £39.50
Would you think of M&S for an LBD? Well you should. See above for why.
