Everyone loves a loyalty scheme, right? Those days where you can trade your Starbucks stars for a cream topped venti frapp are the best days. When you finally get enough Boots points to earn yourself a “free” mascara? HEAVEN.
So it makes sense that ASOS have launched their very own loyalty scheme, snazzily called ASOS A-LIST. It’s fully explained on their site here but essentially for every £1 spent you earn five points and for every 500 points accrued you get a £5 voucher.
Yes, that does mean you need to spend £100 before you get your free money BUT if you’re spending on ASOS anyway then you may as well be rewarded for it and there’ll no doubt be lots of opportunities to boost your points balance. You can get double points on all purchases til midnight tomorrow, for starters.
There are other perks too like discounts on your birthday, early access to sales and free next day delivery – all of which get better and better depending on what level of the programme you reach.
Convinced that ASOS A-LIST is no bad thing, I thought I’d suggest some ace new bits to buy to rack up those double points…
1. Top by ASOS White – £45
If it has a ruffle on it, I want it. You can apply that rule to all things going forward.
2. Sunglasses by ASOS – £12
Cool enough to lift any outfit, cheap enough to trash on holiday.
3. Dress by Monki – £20
A bit of past season Prada to it, which is no bad thing for sports luxe fans.
4. Tee by Daisy Street – £13.99
The tee wants you to know it likes you. I like you too.
5. Bralette by Bikini Lab – £29.09
I really like bikini tops like this, especially when you want something a bit different because EVERYBODY EVER has one of those Triangl copycat bikinis. You can buy the matching bottoms of course, but it would look ace with plain black bottoms too which you may already have. (Or is it just me who has a drawer full of random bikini bottoms?!)
6. Jumper by ASOS – £22
I presume you can see the pug elbow patches and therefore fully understand why I have included this.
7. Cropped Jacket by Milk It – £40
London Fashion Week only served as a reminder that I need more jackets with words scribbled on the back.
8. Shorts by ASOS – £25
Because it will be warm, one day.
9. Jumper by ASOS – £28
Am I just being nostalgic or is there something early noughties cheerleader about this? I am a bit in love.
10. Dress by ASOS Collection – £65
SO PRETTY! Get me to a posh event, stat. (Or just the local pub, I’m not fussy).
11. Jumper by ASOS – £35
You already got the memo about my love for ruffles, right?
12. Sunglasses by Quay Australia – £30
13. Skirt by Closet – £60
Going to a wedding/christening/garden party/race day any time soon? You need this skirt.
14. Kimono by ASOS Collection – £55
I don’t think I’m cool enough to style it like this, but I’d wear this kimono with a pretty white vest underneath. Or a neon vest? Yes, that would look nice.
15. Jumpsuit by Missguided – £40
Blame the fact I was at The BRITs last night but I seem to 100% think I need this. I JUST WANT TO BE IN LITTLE MIX, OK?!
16. Dress by Supertrash – £70
What can I say? I like a wipe clean skirt.
