Jubilee Drink Time

Fellow WIWT-ers,

You are cordially invited to join us for a drink and some shopping (we know you love both) on Friday the 1st of June, to help us toast our dear Queen Elizabeth II.

Head on down to Carnaby Street after work (it's very pretty and jubilee-ish at the moment) and you'll find us downstairs at Rock and Rule's pop-up shop on Marshall Street. (Map here)

There'll be shopping to be done (our beloved iwhoretees and Buttonmess are being stocked at Rock and Rule) and we'll obvs be having a general natter and a gossip.

Come say hey. We'll be sad if you don't.

Reign on, Ms Lizzie xxx

Five at Five - 28.05.12

Five at Five - 25.05.12

Well we made it! We trialled Five at Five for a week and unless we get a load of emails over the weekend saying this feature needs to bore off, we'll be back on Monday making the Five at Five an official part of your daily WIWT routine.

Thank you for reading it and telling us you like it.

We won't be posting over the weekend for now, but here are the five items we're crushing on today...

Drink a gimlet

PRICE: Depends if you make it at home or have it out, obvs.

Because it's the most wonderful simple cocktail there is. People argue over the quantities, we say go with half gin and half Rose's lime cordial...but for the best gimlet you need to go to the RAC Club on Pall Mall and let them do the mixing.

Make a gimlet with the recipe here.

And that's it! See you same time, same place, on Monday!

Buy a pair here.

Bibi Babydoll by Ann Summers

PRICE: £50

Because it's almost dainty enough to be worn outside the bedroom. (We've seen the back of it, do not wear outside the bedroom)

Buy it here.

Python Falabella Bag by Stella McCartney

PRICE: £855 (ahem)

Because it's snakeskin AND has neon pink detailing, obviously.

Buy it here.

Wahaca Sauces from Sainsburys

PRICE: On offer - £1.32 (RRP £1.99)
