This summer's been a bit of wash out, I don't think I've even written about festival fashion once. I went to ELEVEN music festivals last summer, this year I feel like I've spent my summer indoors waiting to get my advent calendar out.

That's about to change though, the sun is shining (at time of starting this post it was - now I am proof reading it and it's grey again - amazing) and the UK's best loved festival is within portaloo distance - that's right, it's nearly time for V Fest!

WIWT are honoured beyond words to have been invited by Virgin Media Pioneers to have a photo booth at Vigin Media's Louder Lounge to capture all the best festival fashion.

Six of us WIWT-y types will be there, snapping slebs and generally causing mischief in the quest to find the best dressed (and the fox - more on that later).

But this has left me in a quandry - I have essentially been invited to represent FASHION. What the hell do I wear?

The main issue is always footwear. Rain or shine, I still like to wear wellies at festivals. Have you raved in flip flops? I have, I have the bruises and scars a year later to prove it.

Wellies are fun and practical and we don't wear them nearly enough bearing in mind how much it rains in the UK. Everyone dons a pair for a festival on a sunny day, but then will walk around in soggy ballet pumps and mulchy Uggs come Autumn.

Oh well.

I like trying to find a nice pair of wellies that aren't the obvious * INSERT THAT FAMOUS WELLY BRAND HERE * and ideally I like black wellies as they match everything and are generally not 'zany'.

Best I've found on my welly hunting travels this year?

They're hot, right? They could just be very cool biker boots, but they're actual wellies. Calf length and studded and black, could they be more fash friendly?
