Win a trip to a Dove Spa thanks to Wish.co.uk

On Wednesday Poppy and I were offered the chance to head to Dove Spa in Canary Wharf courtesy of Wish.co.uk Experiences; a website where you can buy vouchers for fancy 'experiences' - the likes of which range from zombie boot camps (literally being chased around an abandoned shopping mall by zombies - yep seriously, there are people who pay to do this) to driving supercars and army tanks! As much fun as the zombie boot camp sounded, a relaxing afternoon experiencing 'Sheer Bliss' at a Dove Spa seemed slightly more appealing and we took wish.co.uk up on their offer.

There are lots of Dove Spas around the UK but we chose Canary Wharf (more chance of bumping into boys with Ferraris) for our afternoon of indulgence. After arriving and filling in the consultation forms with a nice glass of iced water we were taken to our separate treatment rooms where soft 'relaxy relaxy' music played and the lights were dimmed. Then the fun started! We received a soothing back, neck and shoulder massage which included scrubbing and warm oils and all sorts of lovely products from the Dove Spa range. Then we each had a bespoke facial as we lay mummified in hot towels and tried not to fall asleep (in a nice way!). After 45 mins or so of all this attention, we were left to get ourselves dressed again to meet our therapists outside to get our nails did.

Unlike some spa experience vouchers, both of us received all three treatments (massage, facial, nails) which is actually pretty rare in our experience. My favourite bits were the facial and having my nails did as, believe it or not, I have never had my nails professionally painted. I opted for 'Blue Lagoon' by Leighton Denny - whilst Poppy went for an understated nude hue- very classy!

We left the spa feeling refreshed and relaxed (although I was conscious of the fact that my true paleness would be revealed having had all my bronzer taken off during the facial...) and wondering if we could get away with testing spas every week. (Can we?!)

The Dove Spa Sheer Bliss package would normally cost £98 for two people from Wish.co.uk and would make a fab gift for a sister/mum/friend if, like us, you like to give presents where you can enjoy them too. But, aware that we shouldn't hog ALL the fun ourselves, we are giving away this spa experience for two to use at any Dove Spa across the UK.
