Ashish SS12 Collection at LFW

The second show of Day 2 with Vodafone VIP for me was Ashish.

This was one of the shows I was most looking forward to. Sequins are always exciting, after all. Ashish is also a good show for sleb spotting and the FROW was dotted with various names in Ashish archive pieces, including Ashish mega fan Paloma Faith - of course.

The show was eclectic as always, but much much girlier than AW11's offering - floral was everywhere. I like sequinned daisies and all but my fave pieces had to be the brickwork pieces. I would kill a man for the brickwork jacket (probably).

And the fact that sequinned poppies featured definitely scored points with me ;)

Not sure I'll be stuffing flowers into my boots next summer but I suspect the festival crowd will love this look.

It's tricky to narrow down three faves but these were they...

And what inspired the collection? “Summer vacations, holiday romance and faraway places.”
