The first show of Day 3 with Vodafone VIP was particularly special as it was with Vodafone's partner designer for the next two seasons - Richard Nicoll.

Richard is one of the most exciting designers in London, so it's no surprise that the show was packed out with all the top editors. And to see fellow designers such as Henry Holland showing support from the front row is a real testimony to Richard's design talent.
Before we talk clothes, I have to say that this show had the best soundtrack of any so far this season. Anything that opens with The Flamingos' 'I Only Have Eyes For You' is a winner with me (it's a serious contender for my 'first dance' song).
The collection came in a pallette of cornflower, powder pink, dove grey, black, aqua and Laura Palmer blue. The materials? Neoprene (swoon), lurex knitwear (double swoon!), plastic, metallic lace, exclusive floral jacquards, organza and georgette.
It was pretty damn special, I saw one Twitterer describe the collection as 'the future as imagined in the 60s'...and that's a pretty accurate description.
My favourite 5 looks? (I couldn't narrow down to 3, soz!)

And what inspired the collection? “Henri Clouzot's unfinished film L'Enfer starring Romy Schneider; the thought of a holiday after this season; sixties futurism.”
I went backstage to interview Richard for Vodafone VIP after the show and that video will be appearing here soon.

I wasn't the only friend of Vodafone backstage though. There were five lucky Vodafone VIP winners who not only got tickets to the show (that's a big deal, ask the fashion press and buyers who couldn't even get in), they got to come backstage to meet Richard afterwards too! Vodafone run comps like this all the time for VIP members, so it's def worth signing up to Vodafone VIP for these kinds of perks. It's totes free for Vodafone customers and as well as fashion competitions and exclsuive discounts, there are all sorts of fun offers and comps across festivals and Formula 1 too. (You can sign up here.)
Watch the full Richard Nicoll show below, you can tell your mates you were there! They'll never know...
