Virgin Media's Pioneer TV recently invited Poppy to take part in an interview about her career and how WIWT came about. Here is the interview in full. Essential viewing for any WIWT fan!
We were very excited when reading our Sunday papers this weekend! WIWT has been featured by the lovely lot at The Independent on Sunday. In the article 'Dawn of the Digital Stylist', journalist Genevieve Roberts tries out the WIWT app - and rates it highly! 'I'm flattered when my dress attracts 3 stars - strangers' objective approval counts double that of friends'. Well said!
You can read the article online on the Independent website. Thanks Genevieve - come back and show us more outfits!
Despite a cold snap we've seen some very colourful jazzy outfits this week on WIWT.
A great example of how to do transitional dressing; team your printed summer dresses and colour block vests with faux fur, thick tights and leather.
We like. For more of this week's fave outfits go to our Facebook page.
There's been one subject on everyone's lips in the UK this week - HEATWAVE. After a disappointing (yet hardly unexpected) good old English damp squib of a summer, we've suddenly been blessed with a week of hot hot sunshine.
Obviously being British, most of the nation is satorially unprepared for such incidents. Most of us panicked ('Do I need to get my legs out?', 'Is this white minidress office appropriate', 'Do I care?'), yet some looked all chic and mediterranean and cool.
On WIWT this week we've seen a huge amount of the latter - stylish, smiling, sunshiny people looking very hot. These are our faves from the week of the heatwave.
WIWT Social Media Intern
We’re looking for someone bright, ambitious and focused to assist with the social media, marketing and PR of new social network WIWT. This is a great chance for a fashion or marketing student who wants their first step into the industry, or someone who’s looking to get their first experience of working for an exciting digital fashion company.
The position will be done from your own home or work space (which means you'll need your own computer or access to one), so this is ideal for anyone with other commitments or who doesn’t live in the big smoke. There will be potential to come to WIWT HQ or attend events occasionally if you are able to travel to London. This is open to anyone within the UK and Ireland. We expect the placement to last between two and four weeks, this can be disccused after you apply.
