I'm wearing the shoes again today... the verdict is that girls love them and boys hate them. I can live with that.

WHY would boys hate them? They're sky-scraper high, black, sexy AND PATENT. You're like a pin up in those. Get new guy friends is my verdict.

Hell yes. My boyf hates the majority of what I wear. If anything, I use his hate to encourage me. "Which one do you hate more....? Okay great I'll wear that one"
