Outfits - rosieglow

I wore this on the plane on my way back from Prague yesterday. Airport chic is one of my ultimate fashion fantasies...it looks so good on others (aka celebrities) but is so hard to achieve (and still stay comfy) in real life! I am one of those people who isn't happy unless pictures and ripped pages of magazines are blu-tacked all over my bedroom walls, and I'm pretty sure that this obsession actually started with an airport chic style photoshoot from a magazine many years ago, the effortless cool-ness of which has stuck with me as a dream through my airoplane fashion exploits since then! I pretty much put this outfit on because the skirt was cool enough to wear in the heat of Prague, but long enough for me to not look like a complete lunatic when I landed back in Manchester! The top I was wearing already, and my jacket I threw on as it was the only cover-up I took away with me! It wasn't until a random foreign girl in the airport toilets came up to me and said "hi, your style is awesome" that I thought this might be an outfit worth blogging about after all!! By then it was too dark to take any photos by the actual airport, but I took some of the same outfit today to show you instead. What do you think? Have I finally got airport chic nailed??
